Joan A. Keely is an Associate at Bongiorno, Montiglio, Mitchell & Palmieri, PLLC. Joan is licensed to practice law throughout the Courts of the State of New York, as well as the Federal Court located in the Eastern District of New York. During law school, Joan was admitted to the Southern District of New York as a Student Attorney prosecuting EPA enforcement actions on behalf of clients. Joan was also selected in 2002 to be an extern for the United States Department of Justice. In the United States Attorneys Office for the Southern District, she worked on all manner of criminal prosecutions.
Upon graduating law school, Joan went into the private sector where she has practiced in the areas of litigation and complex real estate transactional work. Her litigation experience spans insurance, insurance subrogation, contract disputes, real property law, partition, foreclosure defense, landlord/tenant, and commercial litigation.
